UPDATE: New Mexico State Police say the crash happened just after 4 p.m. along US-70 and Old Mescalero Road.
Officers say a black passenger car with three passengers was northbound on Old Mescalero Road. The driver ran a stop sign at US-70 and crashed into a van with ten passengers and then hit an SUV with three passengers.
Six people in the van and three in the black car recieved injuries and were taken to an area hospital by ambulance. Two other people in the van received serious injuries and were airlifted to an El Paso hospital…
