A large storm system has arrived, bringing scattered showers over the lower elevations and high elevation snow across southern and western New Mexico. Precipitation will likely dissipate as it pushes north over the next several hours. Isolated showers are possible this evening as the center of the storm system moves over the state.
Overnight tonight and into early tomorrow morning a strong line of low elevation rain and mountain snow will develop across southern New Mexico. It likely bring a few hit or miss showers to the metro overnight, but the heavier activity will be south of I-40. A line of rain will likely impact the morning commute across east central parts of the state, with snow over the Sacramento mountains creating some slick conditions. Isolates showers are possible across the state into Wednesday afternoon, but overall drier conditions will arrive Wednesday night.
