A storm system late this week will bring rain and snow to the Central/Southern Plains. The most likely areas for snow will be along/north of the storm’s track. Models have shifted north with that track over the last few days, tracking the center of the surface low from SE Colorado down into Oklahoma and then Arkansas. Temperatures will be warmer with time as the system moves east, meaning the highest snow chances will likely reside over Colorado and down to New Mexico over the higher elevations.
