ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – CBS7 FIRST ALERT Forecast for Thursday, February 1st, 2024: February will start on a warm note across West Texas and southeast New Mexico. Temperatures starting out the day today won’t be too bad with early morning lows dropping down into the upper-30s and 40s across the region. High pressure continues to build across the region with high temperatures entering into “warm” territory this afternoon. High temperatures will be in the 70s for all of West Texas and southeast New Mexico. Midland/Odessa are looking to see a high temperature of 74 degrees. Some spots are even looking to push 80 including Monahans and Pecos. Skies will be mostly sunny and winds will be pretty light.
