Northern New Mexico is waking up to some heavy mountain snow with southern New Mexico seeing very windy conditions. The storm will be departing through the day, allowing wraparound moisture to bring more heavy rain to northeastern New Mexico, with heavy snow over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Raton Pass throughout the afternoon and evening. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect, where 1-2 feet of snow is possible across the San Juan and Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
