3 stolen vehicles found, 2 arrested by New Mexico State Police

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police (NMSP) have arrested two people and located three stolen vehicles.

NMSP’s Crime Suppression Bureau was performing a traffic stop near Central and Elizabeth on February 1 when they arrested Jay Dean, 53. He was wanted for receiving/transferring a stolen motor vehicle.

Near Marron Circle NE, they reported they saw Larry Medina, 45, in a stolen vehicle. He allegedly tossed around three grams of meth under a vehicle. Authorities observed the VIN had been changed to conceal the original number.

Two other stolen, unoccupied vehicles and a stolen license plate were also found.
