Goodwill of New Mexico rolls out two electric semi-trucks

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Goodwill says it is doing its part to go green. The nonprofit thrift store is rolling out two new electric semi-trucks. They can travel 230 miles on a single charge and charging takes 90 minutes.

Lawmakers consider $85 million for Los Lunas bridge and interchange construction

The company said the trucks are the first of its kind in the state. “By adopting this technology, we are not only enhancing our operational efficiency but also contributing to cleaner air and a healthy environment for the communities that we serve,” said CEO Shauna Kastle.

The truck cost $1 million. A federal grant covered some of the cost.
