SANTA FE, N.M. – The Supreme Court announced revisions to pretrial detention rules for New Mexico. One of the revisions are people on pretrial release will be held in jail if they are rearrested on a felony and select misdemeanor charges. The order went into effect immediately across the state on Wednesday, May 8.
