Fair-to-good fishing conditions along with another weekend of summer-like temperatures will greet visitors to southeast and southwest New Mexico lakes and streams, according to the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. Around Carlsbad, fishing for catfish along Bataan Lake was reported fair to good using cut bait and worms.
