New Mexico State Police Hosted a Round-Up in Gallup

The New Mexico state police announced via a social media release that on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the New Mexico State Police District 6 conducted a Warrant Round-Up targeting wanted individuals and absconders within the Gallup area. Over the course of six hours, NMSP officers from Gallup and Grants offices worked diligently across McKinley County, resulting in the apprehension of five suspects, including four felony arrests and one arrest for a misdemeanor domestic violence warrant.

The following individuals were taken into custody during the operation per the report:

1. Stephanie Burrola, 55 – Arrested on warrant for Aggravated Assault against a Household Member (intent to commit a felony), a 4th-degree felony.

2. Mark Yellowhorse, 44 – Arrested on warrant for Aggravated Stalking (Violation of a Protection Order), a 4th-degree felony.

3. Robby R. Yazza, 44 – Arrested on warrant for Abuse of a Child (not resulting in death or great bodily harm), a 3rd-degree felony.

4. Emilio Griego, 37 – Arrested on warrant for Aggravated Battery against a Household Member, a misdemeanor.
