These were supposed to be the golden years. At least that’s what Jardy Martinez-Jones was told. But life after 65 is turning out to be tougher than he expected. “We got lied to,” joked Martinez-Jones, a 78-year-old retired elementary school teacher from Chama who has been dealing with a series of health issues as he ages.
