NM residents getting free day-use access to State Parks

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico State Parks are rolling out new fee and boating regulations. State residents will get free day-use access from October all the way through April.

Camping and boating fees around the state are increasing for the first time since 2004. Officials say the money will go towards rising operational costs.
