A Centereach man who admitted leading a $5.5 million vehicle fraud operation that illegally financed and resold more than 120 cars across New York has been sentenced to five years in prison, Suffolk County prosecutors announced Friday.
Mark McCall, 34, was sentenced Oct. 29 after pleading guilty to attempted enterprise corruption and weapon possession charges. Prosecutors said he directed a criminal network that used forged financial documents to obtain vehicles from dealerships, then resold them using fraudulent titles that concealed outstanding loans.
