The New York State Court System is launching a new community service program for teens called “Explorers,” designed to promote civic engagement and leadership. The program, which is initially being piloted in Brooklyn, is aimed at students aged 14 to 17 and incorporates activities such as leadership-building exercises, fitness training and community service. The students will also have the chance to receive awards and scholarships.
