BUFFALO, N.Y. – Thursday night could be the night to see the Northern Lights locally again. The Space Weather Prediction Center shows a decent viewing opportunity of the Northern Lights locally in Western New York, with the Geomagnetic Storm, G-Scale at a level 4 (the range is 0 to 5) for Saturday night, and the K Index at a higher level 8. Mainly clear skies here will allow for a good chance for viewing as well!
