Team titles went to a familiar trio of powerhouse programs during the three Section 4 girls swimming & diving championship meets Saturday.
Horseheads made it five consecutive championships in Class A, Maine-Endwell matched that number with its triumph in Class B, and Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour secured an eighth consecutive title in Class C.
The A and C finals were held at Watkins Glen. Maine-Endwell hosted Class B. Elmira’s Ernie Davis Academy was site of diving Friday.

Section 4 athletes who met the state standard at any point during the season qualified for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championship meet, to be held Nov. 22 and 23 at the Webster Aquatic Center, near Rochester.
