Temperatures dropping after a gorgeous Saturday

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — After a gorgeous and seasonable Saturday, we’ll watch temperatures fall into the 40s this evening. Clear skies remain which allows our temperatures to fall below freezing into Sunday morning.

We’ll wake up Sunday with temperatures in the upper 20s and sunny skies. Afternoon highs reach the low to mid-50s and skies remain mostly sunny.

High pressure continues to build over North Carolina into the start of our work week which keeps us dry and sunny.

We’ll be in the low 30s Monday and Tuesday morning with afternoon highs near-normal in the low 50s.

By late week, we’ll start to see temperatures reach above normal and our next system will arrive to kick off the weekend.

Our warm-up begins on Thursday with morning temperatures still below freezing, in the low 30s. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the upper 50s and skies will be partly cloudy.
