CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The man accused of shooting and killing four law enforcement officers during a gunfight Monday has an extensive criminal history in North Carolina. Court records show Terry Clark Hughes Jr. Has been arrested dozens of times, has been in and out of jail since the mid-2000s, and has spent nearly two years incarcerated in the state prison system.
