‘Dangerous’ temperatures expected Friday prompt Heat Advisory across central NC

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Friday across several counties in central North Carolina. The heat advisory is set to remain in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. The NWS said dangerously hot temperatures with possible heat index levels reaching above 105 degrees.
