Alabama state transportation and health workers being sent for hurricane relief

Gov. Kay Ivey is sending state transportation and health workers to help with hurricane relief in Florida and North Carolina. Ivey said Alabama Department of Transportation workers will be going to Florida to aid with cleanup and recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricanes Milton and Helene. The state is sending a public health support team to North Carolina to assist in their Helene recovery.
