High pressure will lock in over eastern NC over the weekend, ensuring plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. As we head into the weekend, mostly sunny skies will persist for ENC, thanks to an area of high pressure building across the Mid-Atlantic and southeastern states. High temperatures will bounce back to the lower 70s through the weekend, then we start to warm back up to the mid to upper 70s by midweek. A few areas could tap into the lower 80s. Overnight lows will rebound back to the lower to mid-50s.
