Charleston Co. deputies helping North Carolina to assist in Helene’s aftermath

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Ten Charleston County Sheriff’s deputies are volunteering to help North Carolinians work through the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The deputies will work static posts, escorts, and be paired with Buncombe County deputies during their shifts. Asheville, which was hard hit by Helene is located in Buncombe County.
