CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Free well disinfection and well water collection kits are now available for areas impacted by Hurricane Helene. The kits come from a partnership between the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and local health departments. The departments will distribute the kits for homes who rely on private wells that were flooded or damaged by Helene.
