Donations headed to Helene victims from the Midstate

(WHTM) — As the clean-up continues in North Carolina after Helene more help is arriving from the Midstate to help displaced pets and their humans.

The Vetting Zoo partnered with Waggin’ Wheels Pet Supply and Angels Among Us Animal Sanctuary- asking the community to donate items for animals in need.

“We are taking all of our items that have been donated over the past month from all of our generous clients, friends, people that have been following us on Facebook,” Vetting Zoo owner Diane Ford said. “And then we’re going to be taking them down to North Carolina in the flood-ravaged areas.”
