Every dog in the state of Ohio over the age of three months needs to be licensed by January 31st, and on February 1st, the price for a one-year dog tag goes from $22 to $44. In Allen County, dog tags can be purchased in person at the dog warden’s office. Besides a one year, you could get a three-year or permanent tag for a higher cost. Once you get your new tags, it is important that you put them on your dog’s collar to be effective.
