Power restored for most in NE Ohio after storms

CLEVELAND (WJW) — FirstEnergy reports that around 650 customers are without power in Ohio Saturday evening. That’s down from about 5,000 earlier in the day.

About 300of those outages are in Cuyahoga County as of 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The NWS in Cleveland had issued a Tornado Watch for multiple counties through the evening, but that has been canceled.

Severe thunderstorms moved through NE Ohio between noon and 1:30 p.m.
