Two years ago, the first time party labels were affixed to Ohio judicial contests at the appellate and Supreme Court levels, none of the three Republicans running in Ohio Supreme Court races participated in our endorsement process. We were told they’d gotten together and made that decision, but we regretted not being able to speak directly to them through the endorsement interviews we record and post with our endorsement decisions.
