Changes to absentee ballot drop-off rules causes big controversy ahead of elections

CINCINNATI (WKRC)- Secretary of State Frank LaRose has issued a directive to local election officials changing how absentee ballots can be returned. It said that anyone dropping off a family member’s ballot or helping a voter with a disability must bring ballots inside the board of elections office and sign a form confirming they’re following the rules.
