Freezing rain, black ice, and snow could impact travel on the Interstate and local roadways in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania Christmas Eve Morning

TEMPERATURE COMPARISON MONDAY MORNING AT 7 A.M.

Although temperatures are supposed to rebound into the lower 40s by Monday evening, the surface temperatures will still be cold enough for falling snow to stick or melting snow to form patches of black ice.

About an inch of snow is expected across the region Tuesday morning while temperatures begin to warm back up. This could lead to snow falling initially and then quickly transitioning into rain.
