A significant winter storm is very likely, late Sunday through Monday and the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for most of the region.

Snow should be the main precipitation type, but there could be a potential of sleet and freezing rain to mix south of I-70.
Storm Center 7 meteorologists are expecting at least 6 inches of snow in some areas.
Ice could cause difficult travel conditions as road crews may not be able to treat roads after the snow ends late Monday.
The worst travel conditions are expected late Sunday night through early Monday morning due to heavy snow and reduced visibility.
