LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Many are dry shortly before the 6 o’clock hour but it won’t stay dry as the day goes on. A shortwave disturbance or area of low pressure will move across Oklahoma and north Texas during the day bringing Texoma widespread rainfall. Rain will be heavy at times and with instability present within the atmosphere scattered thunderstorms are expected. No severe weather is expected (large hail or damaging winds) however localized flooding will be a concern due to the heavy rainfall.
