Last week, our OMES/ARPA oversight committee held the budget hearing for the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES). This is our largest state agency that is tasked with providing various types of administrative assistance to the other executive agencies, including IT services, human resources, capital asset management, employee benefit services and retirement, fleet management, along with other services. The agency was appropriated nearly $146 million in state dollars for the current fiscal year and has requested an additional $8.2 million for FY’25.
