Oklahoma will gain more daylight in February, meaning later sunsets

Oklahomans who are tired of the early sunsets are about to get some good news: Longer days are coming. But how much daylight will be gained in February?. KOCO 5 Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane says that from the start to the end of the month, Oklahoma will add about 50 minutes. The sun will start setting around 6 p.m. starting Sunday, and Damon says we’re getting closer to 7 p.m. sunsets in a few weeks.
