Oklahoma shuts down more disposal wells in response to recent earthquake

OKLAHOMA CITY – The state has shut down more disposal wells in response to the recent earthquake. It’s the Corporation Commission’s second move meant to slow seismic activity. Nine wells have to shut down in the next 10 days, with the OCC saying it’s out of an abundance of caution to reduce the pressure against those fault lines.
