Oklahoma’s push to modernize education and prepare young minds for future industries took a definitive shape yesterday as Governor Kevin Stitt together with Secretary of Education Nellie Sanders announced the creation of the Human Potential for Future Industries Task Force. Charged with the goal to unleash student capabilities, the new initiative focuses on innovative approaches to meld workforce demands with personal student strengths. “We’re building the best workforce in the nation, and that means reimagining education to focus more on real-world experience and individual strengths of students in preparation for tomorrow’s industry needs,” Governor Stitt said in a statement obtained by Oklahoma government’s official website.
