  • We reached a record high yesterday, beating out the old record of 91 degrees set back in 1963.

Drought Tracker:

  • Severe drought conditions have increased to an extreme drought in Nowata and Washington Counties in Oklahoma.
  • Severe drought conditions in central and southern counties.

Humidity Levels:

  • A wind shift line moves in late Saturday into early Sunday.
  • Humidity drops following the wind shift as well.
  • With fuels already very dry, and humidity very low, fire weather will be a concern as we move through the week.

Wind Gust Tracker:

  • Behind the wind shift line, there will be winds gusting 10-15, maybe even pushing 20 mph.
  • Mostly weak wind gusts, but still a windy Sunday.
  • Temperatures drop as well.

7 Day Forecast:

  • Temperatures drop following the wind shift line through Tuesday.
  • We start to warm back up during the middle of the week and through the weekend.
  • After isolated storm chases through the weekend, a possible cold front moves in early the following week (Monday) dropping temperatures back down to average.
