Instead of Bible, let’s just choose poetry or history lessons

I am not anti-Bible nor anti-Walters. In the ’60s, my high school literature textbooks had Bible excerpts, and we read them in the context of the literary form. I think that it could be an issue where Mr. Walters could tone down his rhetoric.

Choosing versions of the Bible? If you actually do some fact-finding, you’ll see that there are many translation errors in the King James Bible. Let’s just choose some poetry or history lessons.

Two controversies, one solution: the Bible on a cellphone app!

The latest controversies are Walters wanting a billion bucks to put Bibles in the classroom (beyond ridiculous) and keeping the kids in the classroom from fixating on their cellphones.

Simple solution: Bible apps are free on every phone! Android, iOS, etc. Just punch a button, thumb a screen and you’ve got the Bible in multiple versions! The local preacher has been going on about Ruth for weeks. I can read the entire book in one sermon!
