OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) – McDonald’s restaurants in Oklahoma have temporarily removed the Quarter Pounder from the menu amid an E. coli outbreak that is linked to the burger. The restaurant has removed the beloved burger from the menu in Oklahoma along with 11 other states at the CDC and other agencies investigating the E. coli outbreak that McDonald’s’ believes may be linked to slivered onions and beef patties used in the Quarter Pounders.
