Oklahoma lawmaker pushing to repeal daylight saving bill, favors standard time

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) – Each year Oklahomans set their clocks forward an hour in the spring and set them back an hour in the fall. During the 2024 legislative session the Oklahoma legislature passed a trigger bill, Senate Bill 1200, to adopt daylight saving time in Oklahoma should federal law authorize states to observe daylight saving time year-round.
