WildCare Oklahoma reports surge in late-season babies due to warm fall

OKLAHOMA CITY, (KOKH) – WildCare Oklahoma reported an unprecedented number of late-season babies from several species of animals. According to WildCare, these species include northern raccoons, easter fox squirrels, Virginia opossums and eastern cottontails. This is likely due to warm temperatures remaining throughout the beginning of the fall season.
