Oklahoma voter turnout lowest in the nation, drops from previous presidential elections

Despite record voter registration and early voting participation, Oklahoma had the lowest turnout rate among eligible voters in the country, one analysis found. Oklahoma’s turnout rate for the Nov. 5 election was 53%, the lowest in the nation, according to a report from the University of Florida. The report included anyone eligible to vote in the state, including Oklahomans who are not registered.
