WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – A winter storm will impact Texas and Oklahoma starting late Wednesday night and Thursday. The winter storm will produce widespread snow across the region, with a band or two of heavy snow on the northwest side of the storm. That band could impact parts of Texoma. it’s a little early to say how much we’ll get, but some accumulations are likely, with the heaviest possibly across the eastern parts of the area. It will be cold with lows tonight in the teens and highs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the 30s. We should see a little moderation in temperatures by next weekend as highs climb back in the 40s and all snow melts off.
