Showers and sunbreaks, t-storms possible

Good morning! I’m tracking showers early on this Wednesday as a Pacific low pressure system approaches. This system is developing right offshore of the region, and will continue to spread showers across northwest Oregon and southwest Washington through the morning commute. A few downpours will be possible, especially as cooler air moves overhead. In fact, isolated thunderstorms can’t be ruled out today along & west of the Cascades. Sunbreaks this afternoon should allow temperatures to reach about 70 degrees in the Willamette Valley. There will be a lot of dry time beyond midday, but be prepared for a random shower or downpour.
