Measure 119 is an odd proposal to put on Oregonians’ ballots. While other measures ask voters to weigh in on potential constitutional amendments or adopt a new way of voting, Measure 119 asks Oregonians a very narrow question: Should cannabis businesses that are seeking or renewing a state license be required to submit a “labor peace agreement” promising to remain neutral if workers seek to unionize? This appears to be an issue for the Legislature, not the public, to decide.
