West Linn-Wilsonville School District ranked among best in Oregon

Everyone likes being called the best. Even the West Linn-Wilsonville School District.

On Monday, Sept. 30, Niche — an online ranking and review company that profiles schools, school districts, colleges and universities — announced its annual rankings of Best Schools and Districts for 2025.

West Linn-Wilsonville School District was ranked first in Best School Districts for Athletes in Oregon and ranked the third best district overall in Oregon. The district was also named the third best place to teach in the state.

“The inclusion of West Linn-Wilsonville schools in national rankings such as Niche.com is a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and larger school community. We appreciate the efforts of our schools and staff members to create a wide range of meaningful opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom,” the district said by email.

Individual WL-WV schools also received their laurels.

West Linn High School was ranked tenth for Best Public High Schools in Oregon and third for Best High School for Athletes in Oregon, while Bolton Primary was ranked tenth Best Public Elementary School in Oregon.
