HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — Governor Shapiro signed the Beagle Bill into law Thursday, defunding cat and dog testing in Pennsylvania, and shedding further light on animal experimentation.
The bi-partisan legislation, introduced by Senator Mastriano, blocks devocalization procedures, increases adoption opportunities and provides further protections for dogs bred for testing reasons.
