Fettterman has butted heads with anti-Israel protesters in the past
Pro-Palestian demonstrators showed up outside the apartment building of Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., to protest his support of Israel in its conflict with Hamas — only to be met with someone who appeared to be Fetterman on the roof tirelessly waving a large Israeli flag.
It has not been confirmed that the senator was the one waving the flag. He could not immediately be reached for comment.
Fetterman has butted heads with anti-Israel protesters in the past, with protesters showing up outside of his office and members of his party criticizing his pro-Israel stance. In November, Fetterman waved an Israel flag as he walked past a ceasefire protest.
The senator vowed he would stand with Israel even as the issue divides the Democratic Party.
“I would be the last man standing to be absolutely there on the Israeli side on this with no conditions,” said Fetterman in December.
Israel is being hit with mounting criticism as the Palestinian death toll exceeds 26,000 people killed in retaliatory strikes for the Hamas terror attack that claimed the lives of some 1,200 Israelis.
