Saturday’s storms helped reverse what has been a monthlong series of dry days. More rain and storms are forecast for Sunday as June prepares to make its exit. In fact, a severe thunderstorm watch was issued around 11 a.m. and will remain in effect through 7 p.m. EDT for much of the state. That means the potential exists for severe storms.
