Pennsylvania crews preparing to send another shipment of donations down to North Carolina

(WHTM) — As we first reported last week, people from throughout the Midstate are working hard to truck supplies down to hurricane victims.

“It’s a day I’ll never forget,” that’s what Matt Flinchbaugh, the owner of Flinchy’s restaurant in Camp Hill says about the first trip made to Morgantown, North Carolina following Helene.

Flinchbaugh says crews already filled up over four trucks and delivered about fifty thousand dollars’ worth of goods to N.C. and they are currently preparing for another trip.

“The quicker we fill this truck, that’s when we plan to go,” he added.

It’s a collaboration of local businesses.

Crews are using trucks from Wright Xpress, a Cumberland County company.

“We have as many trucks as we need,” said Andrea Lawson, Operations Manager with Wright Xpress. “We are very blessed to have the equipment to use to fill as many donations as we would receive. So, we plan to send as many as we can”
