TIVERTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A Tiverton seafood restaurant is closed and cleaning up after a car crashed into the side of the building Saturday morning.
The crash happened at Macray’s Seafood.
The restaurant’s owner told NBC 10 a young man was learning to drive when the accident happened. He said the driver’s parents asked him to turn around, but the vehicle somehow ended up crashing into the side of the restaurant.
The impact damaged part of the building and destroyed the restaurant’s outdoor tiki area…
